The Town Code Enforcement Officer enforces the building and zoning ordinances of the Town.

Pursuant to the Uniform Code, building permits are required for all work in the Town of Allegany.  Pursuant to Article 145, Section 7209 & Article 147, Section 7307 of the NYS Education Law, all plans submitted to the Code Official must be stamped by a registered NYS design professional.
